The detection technology inside the old one is obsolete, and frequent failures are common. Firstly, the functional requirement of the detector is analyzed based on the functional configuration of the computer and the maintenance regulations for it. Secondly, the overall structure is proposed which is based on Compact RIO platform and touch screen computer. Lastly, the hardware structure and the matching software of the detector are designed. The hardware mainly includes four modules: the control module, the measuring module, the display module and the power-supply module. The tool for software development is LabVIEW. The design process is divided into two phases: the development model and the running model. The detector can accurately measure and analyses the input and output signals of the computer.
