In view of the shortcomings of traditional DSP application flashing, this paper designs a method to upgrade the application by using serial port. This paper first expounds the necessity of the online upgrade scheme, the composition of the hardware system and the overall architecture of the online upgrade scheme, and then describes the conversion method of the application HEX data file, the design method of the host computer software for HEX file recoding and the design method of the DSP upgrade software respectively, and finally proves that the online upgrade method proposed in this paper is effective and reliable through experiments, which solves the shortcomings that the spaceborne laser control software must be programmed through the JTAG port.
