Air pressure is an important observation element in surface meteorological observation. At present, barometers mainly rely on manual verification, which is labor intensive, inefficient and prone to errors. Therefore, an automatic verification system of digital barometers is proposed to realize the automatic verification of PTB220 and PTB210 series digital barometers. The system is designed according to JJG 1084-2013 "Verification Regulations for Digital Barometers", which mainly consist of model CPC6000 precision pressure controller, model 745-16B high precision laboratory standard, multi-serial port extension card and computer, etc. This paper introduces the design scheme of the system, and develops an automatic verification program based on LabVIEW, including pressure control, data acquisition, data processing, report generation and sensor adjustment modules, and carries out verification experiments. The results show that the system can significantly improve the efficiency of calibration, and the measurement error of the barometer which has been adjusted meets the requirements.
