The design of infrared TV tracking equipment installation on shipborne telemetry system is proposed to solve the weak visual image problem and the near sea surface measure problem of the telemetry system when face the complicated background interference. Firstly, the feature of shipborne telemetry system and the integrated design are introduced, which realize the telemetry system calibration in near and far field, and switch freely between telemetry and infrared tracking. The infrared TV tracking equipment adopts the optics system with 140mm caliber, 260mm/520mm focus, which can track the infrared object, record image and be monitored. Then the Kalman filter arithmetic is designed to predict the object speed accurately, which successfully fulfills the speed forward feed technique on the equipment. Finally the design feasibility is validated by experiments.
