For locating and analyzing the fault cause, the logic model of oil turbine flowmeter was established and simulated based on simulink. The result of simulation showed that the fault was caused by external electromagnetic interference. First, external electromagnetic interference was coupled with the coil of turbine flowmeter to cause interferences. Then, the interferences were transferred to unwanted plus. Last, the frequency was larger than real value. Demonstration experiment was done on fuel testing equipment using external coil on-off electricity to imitate external electromagnetic interference, and the result had corroborated with the result of simulation. It has guiding value to fault elimination on magnetoelectric turbine flowmeter.
