According to the technical requirements of free flight test, a tracking,telemetery and command(TT&C) and information transmission system used in model free flight test is designed. A number of key issues are broken through according to the system design requirements. The key design method and implementation process of the system are presented. The performance of the TT&C and information transmission system is tested through the ground test,including the receiver sensitivity performance test, the system delay performance test, and other kinds of performance tests. The test results show that the receiver sensitivity and link delay can meet the requirements of the model free flight test. It has an important reference value to the same kind of system.
