In power system, the online monitoring of electric power equipment insulation, and the prediction and diagnosis of power grid fault are important requirement for the automatic measurement of the insulation performance of the smart grid. In this paper, we discussed chirp-z and its dual sequence reorganization algorithm. We used this algorithm to achieve fast and high precision local solution spectra in the medium loss on-line measurement by optimized the harmonic calculation of current and voltage, and solved the problem of harmonic and inter harmonic interference in the measurement, and improved the accuracy of measurement. This algorithm was widely applied in the wireless distributed measurement system with limited resources.
