Tunnel jet fan belongs to high power equipment in tunnel ventilation system and has many applications whether in the railway or highway tunnels. It's reasonable operation directly affects the tunnel operating capital investment. Puting forward a control design with the fuzzy control technology on the basis of analyzing the existing tunnel jet fan control method and taking the control of highway tunnel environment as an example. First, a fuzzy controller and fuzzy control rule table were created based on MATLAB fuzzy logic toolbox. Then the simulation was completed by using VBA development environment in iFIX run fuzzy control process automatically. In the end, the experimental show that this method has obvious control effect and the tunnel running environment improved obviously depending on the concentration variation of CO and the number and time of use of the fan in the experiment.
