According to the practical project’s requirement, the paper proposes a heterogeneous type of remote medical monitoring and diagnostic system, the system consists of remote monitoring terminal, hospital diagnostic analysis client and center server. the remote monitoring terminal runs on embedded ARM11 hardware system, the system uses Linux + QT to realize the collection of patient’s multiple physiological signs data; the diagnostic analysis client runs on PC machine, the system uses Windows + C # + MATLAB to realize the remote medical diagnostic analysis; the center server realizes the heterogeneous network communication services and database services, can deal with multi terminal request. The system running’s results show that the system has a good real-time performance, more flexible architecture, and better scalability.
